Team Xray™ must have listened to the latter, because they have reworked and redesigned the XB8R releasing two new versions the XB8-TQ and the XB8-EC.

Team Xray's™ goal is to raise the standard for quality, luxury and performance.

In designing the XB8R team Xray™ engineers designed an 1/8th scale nitro buggy that is one afford, while featuring many innovative features.

Using the XB8 platform Team Xray™ designed and built an 1/8th scale buggy that is highly competitive on both USA and European style race tracks.

Team Xray's™ goal was to develop and improve the suspension geometry to make it easier to drive fast and work on in any conditions.

Besides looking at just performance Team Xray™ always build their kits with fit and finish in mind.

Like all team Xray™ kits the XB8R, TQ and EC come with excellent instructions that are easy to follow, plus many supplemental instructions to make building the kit as easy as possible.

Also, any time during the building process you run into a problem Team Xray™ maintains an outstanding support staff to help with any problems you incur during building and maintaining your XB8R.

Team Xray's™ goal with the XB8R platform was to develop and produce a buggy that is highly competitive, easy to setup, drive and maintain, while being very durable and all this at an affordable price.

Like almost all 1/8th scale buggy on the market, the XB8R, TQ and EC feature a fully adjustable front and rear suspension.

What makes the XB8R, TQ and EC unique from all other buggies is the ease that many of these adjustments can be made.

Team Xray™ has developed two very unique suspension tuning features. The Integrated Suspension Settings™(I.S.S.) and Integrated Adjustable Caster™ (I.A.C.).

The Integrated Adjustable Caster™ is a Team Xray patent. I.A.C. allows you to adjust caster using the same C-hub through the entire caster range.

No need to change hubs or caster blocks to adjust caster to a different angle.

By using eccentric bushing made from Hudy Spring Steel™ caster can be adjusted from 17° to 25° at one degree increments.

With the eccentric bushings being held in place by screws, they are easy to change and will not move or turn even under the most extreme conditions.

The Integrated Suspension Settings™ is also a Team Xray patent.

I.S.S. allows for complete adjustment to toe-in/out, kick-up, anti-squat, roll center and inboard toe with the use of integrated eccentric bushing's.

With both the front and rear suspension holders being machined out of 5mm 7075 T6 high grade aluminum and the eccentric bushings being constructed out of a high quality composite, makes all suspension tuning options quick, easy and exact.

This takes much of the guess work out of these suspension tuning options. You will now know exactly what degree of toe-in/out, kick-up, anti-squat you are running.

This makes setting up your suspension much easier and faster.

The XB8R, TQ and EC include many other features, some of these features are highlighted below, but for a more detailed description of these features go to a detailed look at the XB8R or a detailed look at the XB8 EC or a detailed look at the XB8 TQ.

Highlighted features of the XB8 platform are:

1. With the use of different chassis braces either aluminum or composite allow for tuning the amount of flex your chassis is going to have. If you are wanting a that flexes more, for tracks with low bite, use the composite braces. Or for a more rigid chassis, use the aluminum braces, on those high bite tracks.

2. To reduce rotating weight and increase performance all drive train parts are manufactured from light weight, super strong high quality Hudy Spring Steel™. This makes the XB8 series of buggies some of the lightest weight buggies on the market.

3. The front shock towers have been redesigned to allow for more front suspension down travel. This increases overall traction, improves control on the big jumps and helps to maintain control on bumpy tracks.

4. The shocks have been redesigned for maximum performance. The bore has been increased to allow for a higher volume of oil to increase damping.

5. With the engine being mounted more rearward, improves handling on bumpy tracks, in jumps and landings after the big jump.

6. All aluminum parts are all machined from high quality Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum.

This has just been a quick look at a few of the features of the XB8 series of buggies. Like with any rc vehicle that Team Xray™ engineers, designs and builds it is of the highest quality and standards.
