I think you might be getting confused between your differintal adjustment and your slipper clutch. The slipper clutch is designed to absorb shocks to the drive train when you are running over rough terain or when you jump your truck and the shock to the drive train when you land. You should tighten up your differential according to which type of truck you have. The slipper clutch should be adjusted by tighten it all the way down then back it off about 2-3 turns and then test drive it you should also be able to get the procedure for adjusting your slipper clutch from the manufacture. I wish I could be more specific but each stadium truck requires a different method for adjusting the differential and the slipper clutch.
