To remove glued tires from rims, get some Acetone from your local home center. Pour the acetone in a metal or acetone safe container. (pour a small amount of acetone on the plastic and see if the acetone melts the plastic). Submerge the tire and let soak or 12- 24 hours. The tire will come right off. The tire and wheel will both be glue free and ready to use. You will have to use new foams because the acetone will break the foams down. I've done this with 1/10 stadium truck tires and buggy tires. Works GREAT

There are 2 methods that I use to remove my tires. Method 1. Use nail polish remover. The misses should have some, But don't get caught, she'll think your weird. Apply the polish remover around your rims, this break's down the glue and your paint. OK to use on old rims, you can respray them. Method 2. Place your rims/tires into a tub of very warm water, leave for a few mins to warm up, then swap to cold water. Do that a few time,warm/cold/warm/cold,the temp change break's down the glue. You'll then have to leave the foam inserts to dry before you put on your new tires. .
