The Mini Rock Crawler is a lot more than just a cool looking rock crawler!

Do not let the small size of the Mini Rock Crawler fool you, it is a very serious rock crawler. While designing the MRC Team Losi™ studied what worked and did not work in both full scale and scale rock crawlers.

What they came up with is a rock crawler that is both fun and very competitive.

Given the size of the Mini Rock Crawler you can setup a crawler course just about any place you like, be it a pile of books, blocks of wood and/or boxes in the family room or a small rock garden in the back yard or a hardcore rock crawling course. The MRC is at home on any of these courses.

With all the features that Losi™ has loaded the Mini Rock Crawler with you would think that it is a 2.2 or Superclass crawler.

But, the MRC is a 1.9 competition rig.

Like almost all rock crawlers the MRC features a Metal Twin Vertical Plate (TVP) chassis with multi-link suspension.

Both the front and rear differentials are locked giving the MRC full time 4WD. To add strength and durability Team Losi™ used heavy duty metal ring and pinion gears along with axles in building the MRC.

To add even more strength along with drivability metal shielded ball bearings have been installed on the MRC. By optimizing drive shaft angles and using telescoping drive shafts along with solid axles the MRC is capable of obtaining 4.5 inches of suspension articulation.

To control suspension travel 2.755 inch (70mm) long oil filled coil-over shocks have been installed front and rear.

To help control torque twist Team Losi™ has installed a stiffer left rear spring on the MRCr.

To power the MRC Team Losi™ has installed their high torque 380 rock crawler specific motor.

Create Your Own

The Mini Rock Crawler also features a rock crawling specific electronic speed controller (ESC) with forward and reverse and a drag brake that is capable of holding MRC on the steepest climbs and descents.

To control steering Team Losi™ has installed a mini high-torque steering servo.
