With 4wd independent suspension and Cen Racing's™ NX 3.0 (.18ci) nitro engine the Magnum NX could easily be called a rc monster truck.

But, being 1/10th scale with a stadium truck style body, I would call it a rc stadium truck with an attitude!!

It is hard to describe the Magnum NX, is it a stadium truck disguised as a monster truck or a monster truck disguised as a stadium truck? Since it is 1/10th scale you would think it is a stadium truck, but with the Magnum-NX being 4WD makes you think it is a monster truck.

So it is up to you to decide how you what to classify the Magnum NX.

Cen Racing's™ goal with the Magnum-NX was to build a nitro powered 4WD vehicle that is targeted for the beginner and/or a rc enthusiast that is budget minded.

While keeping the cost of the Magnum-NX at a conservative level does not mean that it is not durable, fast and loaded with features only found on higher cost trucks!

Cen Racing™ has installed their NX 3.0 (.18ci) nitro engine that has the capability of taking the Magnum NX to speeds up to 45mph.

To with stand the punishment and abuse of these high speeds the Magnum NX is built using a 2.5mm aluminum chassis that has all the screws countersunk.

The chassis also features a front kick up for added caster to improve handling and a flywheel cutout so a starter box can be used. Plus there is a cutout for the spur gears to lower overall center of gravity.

To add over all strength to the chassis a multi-section brace runs the entire length of the chassis. This multi-section brace is used for mounting the receiver box and throttle servo.

While the steering servo is laid down and mounted directly to the chassis, this lowers the center of gravity and increases steering efficiency.

Both the throttle and steering servos are Skyion's™ 144oz high torque servos. These servos are aluminum geared and ball bearing supported so there is no need to upgrade to higher torque or stronger servos.

With having factory installed high torque servos can save the owner of a Magnum-NX somewhere around $200.00 not having to upgrade servos.

This is one feature that I wish was included on more RTRs, many RTRs on the market today use lower torque, cheaper servos. This adds much more cost with the need to upgrade servos right out of the box.

Good job Cen Racing™ including and installing better stronger servos!!

For controlling the Magnum-NX Cen Racing™ has included in the package their multi-function Skyion® DSX digital radio.

With the adjustable automatic 2 speed transmission you will be able to push the Magnum NX to its limits. With Cen Racing™ using their sealed ball bearings through out the drive train will add even more reliability and smoothness to the Magnum NX.

To even more toughness and efficiency to the Magnum NX Constant Velocity Shafts (CVS) are used to get all power possible to the ground from the NX 3.0 nitro engine.

To allow the Magnum NX to take on just about any track conditions or terrain a pivot ball suspension that allows for many different suspension tuning options.

To add even more suspension control and tune ability 4 oil filled coil over shocks let the Magnum NX soak up all the rough terrain it comes up against.

No matter how you classify the Magnum NX, a 4wd stadium truck or monster truck, it is one tough and fast off-road all terrain 1/10th scale truck.

Besides being fast (45mph++) and its Chevron style tires the Magnum NX is ready to take on anything you throw at it.

Be it racing, jumping or bashing around the backyard the Magnum NX is one fun truck that is designed for everyone no matter their experience level!!
