The Cobalt flat wire modified electric rc motor is a high torque motor for fast spool up out of corners and on tight tracks.

Team Trinity™ offers this motor in both single and double wire and many different turns.

No matter which of these rc electric motors you choose they all have the same features.

The Cobalt flat wire motors use a Tourbillion® endbell.

The endbell features pure copper hoods to quickly and efficiently transfer heat away from the brushes and commutator.

To dissipate the heat Team Trinity™ has installed vented heatsinks on the endbell.

To lower brush chatter the Cobalt flat wire utilizes new pure copper hoods and heatsinks plates for a tighter brush fit.

Team Trinity™ has mounted the hoods and heatsink plates closer to the commutator to improve brush support and reduce brush wobble as the brush wears down.

To increase durability and longevity the Cobalt flat wire uses the all new "XXX Cobalt Lemans Stand Up Brushes®" which will last for 20 to 40 runs.

All Cobalt motors feature Epic FB-9B wet magnets.

Team Trinity™ has installed three surface mount capacitors with circuit confirmation.

The circuit confirmation is done with a LED light that confirms the capacitors are working correctly.

The Cobalt rc electric motor features a redesigned motor can for a more precise bearing fit.

In building the armature for the Cobalt flat wire motor Team Trinity™ used new high temperature epoxy. This high temperature epoxy holds the wires more securely and greatly reduces the possibility of wire shifting and throwing the armature out of balance.

In building all Cobalt modified high torque flat wire motors Team Trinity™ uses a computerized digital balancer the will result in longer bearing and brush life along with higher torque and rpm.

As Team Trinity builds each motor it is dyno tested and the results are printed on the motor can. These results will include RPM, power, efficiency and torque.

Dimensions of the Cobalt:

Length: 2.22" (56mm) excluding the motor shaft
