Many of the pro-level features on the new Turmoil can not be found on any other buggy in its class.
The Turmoil is "designed for disorder."
When the engineers and designers at Sportwerks™ sat down to develop the new Turmoil their goal was to build the best and most affordable Ready to Race 1/8th scale buggy on the market.
Did they accomplish this? Let's take a closer look at this new 1/8th scale nitro powered buggy from Sportwerks&trade and then you can decide.

The Turmoil's all new chassis is one of most noticeable features. The new FCG (Forward Center of Gravity) chassis is going to have many other builders of 1/8th scale buggies redesigning their chassis.
The FCG chassis moves the engine and center differential forward. Doing this gives the Turmoil balanced handling on many, if not all surfaces and even on high speed corners.
To improve cornering Sportwerks™ added an Ackerman adjustable steering rack. With using an Ackerman steering rack improvements can be seen in both turning response and radius.
The FCG chassis is constructed out of 3mm 6061-T6 aluminum that is both light weight and high strength to reduce chassis flex for added control and stability.
Beefy torque rods were added to both the front and rear of the Turmoil's chassis for more added strength and help reduce flex.
Another area that Sportwerks added strength and durability is by the use of high strength aluminum inner suspension mounting blocks.
To get the Turmoil out in front of the pack Sportwerks™ installed the all new SWK 0.26 V2 Nitro Engine with 007 HT tuned pipe. The V2 engine will produce 2.75hp at 34,000rpms.
With all the tweaking Sportwerks™ has done to the internal workings of this engine and adding a new HT-spec pipe the Turmoil will get the maximum amount of power to the ground.
Now how are you going to control all this power? Sportwerks™ has pre-installed and adjusted Spectrum's&trade DX2 crystal free computer radio system.
The DSM® radio features digital trims, sub-trims, dual rate steering, end point adjustment and 2 model memory.
To add to this long list of new features on the Turmoil, Sportwerks&trade has added a trimmed pre-painted sleek new body. Besides looking cool this new body will also improve downforce for more added control and stability.
