The NEMESIS 7.7 is a high performance monster truck designed off the Genesis 46.No matter if you race at your local RC track or bash in your backyard the Nemesis 7.7 is up to the challenge.
One of the first things you are going to notice about the Nemesis 7.7 is its size. Everything about it is BIG!!! Dry the Nemesis-7.7 weighs in around 14 lbs (6.35 kg) and then by adding fuel and batteries it is going to total up to over 15 lbs (6.80 kg).
With the Nemesis-7.7 being so heavy Cen Racing™ designed and built all the components with size and weight in mind. During development of the Nemesis 7.7 Cen Racing™ focused on performance and durability. Cen Racing's™ goal was to build a rc monster truck that was both great on your local race track and bashing around the backyard. Besides being big the Nemesis 7.7 is capable of reaching speeds of up to 40mph. The 55 Series Assault Racing wheels are huge measuring in at 7+ inches (177.8+ mm). Mounted to these huge wheels are low profile 55 Series Sniper race tires. The Sniper race tire is a soft compound high bite tire that provides good traction on almost all surfaces from loamy to hard packed tracks. One of the other big features of the Nemesis 7.7 that many people notice is the engine. Cen Racing™ has bolted in its CEN NX76 nitro engine. This is one big block engine displacing 0.46 ci (7.6cc). Cen Racing&trade rates the NX76 at 5.0hp at 23,000rpms. All of you Genesis 46 fans already know all the ends and outs of this engine and have had many hours of enjoyment with it. The only down side to Cen Racing™ installing the NX76 in the Nemesis 7.7 is that it will not be legal at many sanctioned races, most of these races are going to limit you to using .28 engines. For you club racers this is not going to be an issue, as almost all club races either do not limit engine size or they run a unlimited class. For you monster truck bashers you are going enjoy all the torque and horse power the NX76 produces. Another cool feature of the Nemesis 7.7 is its motor mount. Cen Racing™ has designed a machined aluminum engine mount that is finned for additional cooling. The engine mount is firmly attached to the chassis that allows for easy clutch bell and spur gear gap setting from the underside. But all you need to do is remove the engine for cleaning or maintenance just remove the four screws, from the top, that holds the mount to the chassis keeping your gear gap set correctly. This makes removing and replacing the engine a snap. To keep this monster engine running Cen Racing™ as equipped the Nemesis 7.7 with a 220cc fuel tank with an internal stone filter pickup. With the big fuel tank you can expect to get run times of around 10-15 minutes.

Cen Racing™ knew that getting as much power transferred to the ground as possible the drive line on the Nemesis 7.7 was going to need to be beefy. All three differentials and the transmission are aluminum cased. The transmission is a metal geared 2 speed automatic that is fully adjustable. The transmission case is the same case that is used on the Genesis, so if you want to add third gear and/or reverse Cen Racing™ does offer this option. To withstand the stress of both size and power the differentials are constructed entirely of hardened steel, not just the gears, the complete differential assembly. Getting power from the center differential/transmission to the front and rear differentials Cen Racing™ has installed 6.5mm diameter hardened steel dogbones as both front and rear drive shafts. Staying with the bigger is better theory, the Nemesis 7.7 uses 8mm (5/16") thick hardened steel constant velocity shafts (CVS) for axles. To get all the power transferred from the axles to the wheels Cen Racing™ has installed 23mm wheel hex hubs. The suspension arms and C-hubs are all constructed using screws and lock nuts so you have no e-clips to worry about. Another cool feature of the Nemesis 7.7 is that the front and rear suspension arms are the same. The upper suspension arms work on any corner and so do the lower arms, this makes having replacement parts on hand much easier and cheaper, plus saves some room in your pit box. To support such a large monster truck Cen Racing™ has installed 8 oil-filled coil over shocks to the Nemesis. The Nemesis's shocks feature fully functional piggy-back reservoirs with 4mm shock shafts. The Nemesis 7.7 shocks come equipped with Cen Racing's™ white springs to control rebound. Plus, to help prevent bottoming out Cen Racing™ install a section of white tubing to each shock shaft. This brake system features vented brake disks and fully adjustable front/rear brake bias. On a lighter truck or buggy a metal to metal brake system maybe too touchy, but on a truck as big as the Nemesis the metal to metal brake system works great and can stop this powerful heavy truck on a dime. To help you control your Nemesis Cen Racing™ has installed Skyion™ G82122 hi-torque servos. These hi-torque servos are used for both steering and throttle/brake. These servos deliver 144 oz-in of torque are metal geared with ball bearing support. With Cen Racing™ using these servos there will be no need for the high cost of updating servos. For your driving pleasure Cen Racing™ has included Airtronics™ MX3 radio system.
