It was the largest 1/8th scale rc monster truck to ever hit the market.
The Genesis 46 weighed in at 17lbs (7.7kg) with an overall length of 23.1" (587mm) a width of 18.4" (467mm) and a wheelbase of 15.63" (397mm).
Besides just its size Cen Racing™ powered it with a nitro engine that was nearly twice the size of any other engine on the market.
Cen Racing™ installed their NX76 .46 (7.7cc) engine that could produce 5.0hp at 23,000rpm.
The NX76 was the largest nitro powered 2 stroke engine ever put into a 1/8th scale rc monster truck.
Cen Racing™ knowing the Genesis 46 needed to be tough they developed a 2.5mm thick dual vertical chassis.
This type of chassis is most often associated with HPI's™ Savage lineup of rc monster trucks.
To tie the chassis together Cen Racing™ has equipped the Genesis 46 with 2.5mm skip plates on the underside of the chassis.
These skid plates help to add rigidity to the chassis, while tying the bulkheads and all other components together.
Almost all the components of the Genesis 46 reside between the vertical chassis plates.
In designing and engineering the Genesis 46 Cen Racing™ built a uniquely new suspension.
The Dimension X® utilizes 10 shocks instead of the 8 shock suspension found on many other rc monster trucks.
The Dimension X® features 2 vertical mounted shocks on each wheel and a horizontal shock on both ends.
These horizontal shocks add damping capabilities to the suspension while tying both sides together and acting much like a sway bar.
The tune ability of the Dimension X® suspension is almost endless, with three upper and two lower mounting positions on the vertical shocks and all 10 shocks being oil-filled coil-over type shocks will allow you to setup this suspension for just about any conditions.
Be it rock climbing, bashing or racing.
With the Genesis 46 being so large Cen Racing™ has installed a three speed shift on the fly transmission with reverse that allows the Genesis to conquer any thing in its path.
To add strength to the drive train Cen Racing™ has used strong aluminum cases for the six gear differentials.
A sealed radio box has been added to eliminate the possibility of dirt, dust, oil or water getting to your receiver and shorting it out.
To feed that fuel hungry monster engine Cen Racing&trade installed a huge 220cc fuel tank with a stone filter fuel pickup.
The Genesis gets its stopping power from dual disk brakes mounted on each side of the transmission.
Even through the Genesis 46 is no longer being produced and has been replaced by the GST 7.7, the demand for replace parts will stay for a long time.
The Genesis 46 is still a very popular rc monster truck and it will remain popular for a long time to come.
Cen Racing™ and many after market parts suppliers will keep make parts for the Genesis 46 as long as there is a demand for them.
