The huge GST7.7 needs big power, it is powered by Cen Racing's™ NX7.7.

The NX7.7, is a .46 cubic inch (7.7cc) engine that delivers around 5hp and a huge amount of torque.

With Cen Racing's™ GST7.7 being 23.1" (587mm) long and weighing in at 17lbs (7.7kg) makes it one of the biggest 1/8th scale rc monster trucks on the market.

It is close to 30% larger than a Revo and park it next to a LST2, MGT or Savage and they look small compared to a GST 7.7.

Everything about a GST 7.7 is big, the gigantic 7.5 inch tires and the NX7.7 nitro engine, the largest engine ever used in a 1/8th scale rc monster truck.

Couple the NX7.7 with a three speed transmission and the GST 7.7 is capable of speeds up around 40mph.

When you fire up the GST7.7 just make sure you have room to maneuver, being so big you are going to need a lot of open space to put the GST7.7 through its paces.

In building the GST7.7 Cen Racing™ used their dual vertical chassis or "DVC", as Cen Racing™ calls it, is a ladder style chassis.

To make the GST7.7 stand out the chassis is anodized green instead of red like the Genesis.

With using no standoffs on the chassis the transmission, front and rear differentials, all the electronic modules and the engine support self are all used to add rigidity and strength to the chassis.

Cen Racing™ knew they had to build the GST7.7 tough to take abuse.

So, in building the drive train, steel gears are used throughout, heavy duty aluminum encase the differentials and 8mm heavy duty drive shafts were used in building the GST7.7.

The drive axle shafts are CV joints, while the center drive shafts are dogbones.

All three differentials are sealed and silicone filled, so the they can be tuned to suit your driving style.

GST7.7's transmission is also built to with stand any abuse you can throw at it. The transmission is a three speed with reverse.

The outer casing of the transmission is plastic, but that is the only part of transmission that is plastic, every thing else is heavy duty steel or hardened steel.

Given the size of the GST7.7 Cen Racing™ was not worried about weight in building the transmission, they were more concerned about making it bullet proof or as close to bullet proof as possible.

The transmission is build for heavy duty use and abuse.

CEN Racing™ GST7.7 RTR Monster Truck is on sale $545.00 USD!

Now you have this monster going 40 some mph and how in the world do you stop it? Cen Racing™ knew that stopping a rc monster truck that weighed in at around 17lbs was not going to be easy.

Knowing what worked they borrowed the unique quad disc brake setup off the Nemesis and installed it on the GST7.7.

What makes this brake system unique is the metal to metal design.

Unpadded stainless steel calipers grab cross-drilled stainless steel rotors, with its unique bracket.

The metal frame work that supports the brakes, keeps everything working correctly.

Metal to metal brakes give way too much braking power to most rc vehicles, but the GST7.7 is not most rc vehicles.

It needs all the stopping power it can get and the metal to metal braking system does that.

If you are not careful or do not have the brakes adjusted correctly mashing on the brakes can result in the GST7.7 rolling over on its lid. That's Stopping Power!!!

With 5" (127mm) of suspension travel the GST7.7 can go just about anywhere and get over just about anything.

Cen Racing™ has made all the suspension thick and tough to with stand any terrain but in front of it.

The GST7.7 features the better handling 8 shock setup instead of the 10 shock "Dimension-X" setup used on the Genesis.

The shocks feature a fully functional reservoir to handle the overflow of oil when the shock is fully compressed.

Cen Racing™ has added stiffer springs on the GST 7.7 to handle all the jumps and rough stuff it is going to encounter.

Like all other 1/8th scale rc monster trucks the GST&.7 has a completely adjustable suspension. Ride height, camber, shock angle, front and rear toe angle and Ackerman can all easily be adjusted.

The GST7.7 also has an adjustable servo-saver, but like many others it is hard to get at, not much finger room around the adjustment collar.

Cen Racing's™ all new NX7.7 nitro engine has had porting improved and timing changed to increase low end torque and achieve higher rpms.

Fuel gets to the engine through a 2 needle slide type composite carburetor.

This big .46cc fuel sucking engine needs a good fuel supply, Cen Racing™ has installed a 220cc fuel tank to extend runs times on the GST7.7.

Even though the fuel tank does have an internal stone filter it would be a wise decision to add an external fuel filter to keep any dirt out the carburetor and engine.

The fun factor of the GST7.7 is huge, just like its size.

In the RTR package Cen Racing™ has included their new Skyion DSX 27MHx transmitter and have installed Skyion G82122 high-torque servos.

Cen Racing™ rates the G82122 for 10 kilograms/centimeters of torque that converts to 139 oz-in of torque.

The GST7.7 is a great basher and with practice could be a good racer in a class that allows this size engine.
