Team Losi™ used all of their previous experience to design this RTR monster truck.

Their goal was to build a high performance and high quality rc monster truck while keeping it a great value.

This Team Losi™ accomplished and while adding many features that are only found on higher dollar rc monster trucks.

This makes the Aftershock one of the best entry level 1/8th scale rc monster trucks on the market.

Team Losi™ has built this rc monster truck to take any abuse you can throw at it.

The Aftershock shares many features with Team Losi's™ many other monster trucks.

To start off Team Losi™ used they same chassis as on the LST and LST2. The aluminum double deck design.

The lower deck runs the entire length of the chassis and the upper deck are two small plates to help support the shock towers, front and rear bulkheads and stiffen the chassis.

Using this double deck design makes for a flex-free chassis that is very tough and rugged.

Team Losi™ has laid out the chassis so it is very easy to maintain and work on.

For added protection and durability the Aftershock has a water tight molded plastic radio box.

The Team Losi™ Aftershock Monster Truck is on Sale Here for $369.99 USD!

Like all other rc monster trucks the Aftershock is full time 4wd with sealed 6 gear differentials. The differentials are cased in heavy duty aluminum to help to eliminate any gear slip or spreading. With the differentials being sealed and easily removable makes tuning the differentials a breeze.

Team Losi™ has installed a shift on the fly 2 speed transmission. To help keep the price down they have eliminated low, high and reverse in this transmission, but it is the same tough design that is used on all their other monster trucks.

The transmission is protected by a multi-disk slipper clutch. Also Team Losi&trade has installed a large shroud around the transmission to keep all the mud and dirt out!!

There is one thing you are going to need to keep an eye on, the 2 speed gears in the transmission are plastic and will need routine inspection for any breakage or wear.

Team Losi™ has designed an all new nitro engine for the Aftershock, the big block, three port .26 Mach M26SS that has been rated at nearly 3hp.

This engine is capable of propelling this monster truck to speeds close to 40mph.

But the Mach M26SS is not all about speed it produces a huge amount of torque that will allow the Aftershock to climb, pull or run over just about anything in its path.

Team Losi™ has added their 2 needle slide carburetor to the Mach M26SS to make fine tuning the engine a snap.

Also Team Losi™ has install a three shoe aluminum clutch that delivers a very positive clutch engagement to get all that horse power to the ground.

The Mach M26SS comes with Team Losi's™ heavy duty pull starter installed on the engine, but also included is their Spin Starter backing plate. Just remove the pull starter and install the Spin Starter backing plate and you can use Team Losi's™ Spin Starter or your electric drill to fire up the Mach M26SS.

The Aftershock comes equipped with a 171cc fuel tank with plunger type primer, if you are wanting a larger fuel tank, the 220cc fuel tank found on the LST2 is a direct drop in.

The Aftershock uses a double wishbone suspension that feature four massive shocks to dampen the long suspension arms.

Steering is handled by dual JR Racing™ Z-590M servos. These dual servos have more than enough torque to handle the massive Losi Claw tires mounted on Magneto 4.25x3.5 inch rims. So, unlike many other RTR monster trucks on the market today the need to replace the steering servos right out of the box has been eliminated.

Team Losi™ has modified the Claw tires, hollowing out every other lug for added traction. This new tire should be very grippy and aggressive in all off-road conditions, but it may wear out quite quickly on-road.

With Team Losi™ including a JR™ XR2i transmitter, this rc monster truck is one of thee best values the market today.

Add to that all the hop-up parts that are now available for the Aftershock you can now modify your Aftershock into a even a BIGGER and BADDER monster truck.

This is one great bashing truck right out of the box, but if you are looking to race the Aftershock just add the sway bar kit for more stability in the corners and you are off to the races.

See the Aftershock in action. A cool bashing video.
